How to Play the Game
Users/ Contestants may submit as many as THREE (3) SEPERATE ANSWERS per contest week. Each Answer Submission must be accompanied by a valid e-mail address and name, by which to contact you, in the event of a win. Players who are found to have submitted more than three answers under the same e-mail address or name, in a given contest week, will be disqualified from current and future prize winnings. The contest will last for the full Contest Week, unless otherwise specified. StumpMonk.com reserves the right to end a weekly contest at any time, prior to Sunday, midnight of the Contest Week's end. In the event of a premature Contest end, all answers submitted within the respective Contest Week, prior to a premature end, will still qualify for their appropriate prize.
Stacking (Stacked) Submissions
Answers may ONLY be submitted using the designated submission form. Answers must be submitted on a "one answer- per- submission" basis. Multiple answers within a single submission are considered cheating and will be referred to as "Stacking" or a "Stacked" submission, and will not be considered eligible for any prizes specified within the StumpMonk.com website or Terms of Use.
Riddle Answers
For an contest answer submission to be considered eligible for a monetary/cash prize, it must match the respective Weekly Riddle answer EXACTLY. Submissions with incorrect spelling, Stacked submissions, or errors in specifying plurality (example: Winning answer=CHILDREN/ Wrong answer(s)=CHILD, CHILDE, etc.), or incorrect synonyms or words (example: Winning answer=CHILDREN/ Wrong answer(s)= kids, babies, toddlers, etc.), are considered "Secondary Answers" and will not be rewarded a cash prize (unless otherwise specified by StumpMonk.com), but rather, an SM-Point. Answer Submissions are reviewed daily, with the corresponding winners posted at noon, the following day. The daily posted winners will not be identified by name or location until the end of each contest week, to eliminate the sharing of Winning Answers by posted Winners.
Posted Winners
Weekly winners of the StumpMonk.com riddle contest agree to have their names and location information (First Name, Last Name's initial, and State= Example: John S., Texas, U.S.A.) posted on the Contest page of StumpMonk.com. The term "Winners", as defined within the confines of StumpMonk.com and these Terms of Use, are contestants who have submitted a correct riddle answer (as defined in the article "Riddle Answers") and have received a monetary/ cash prize, as well as users who have been granted an "SM-Point" for submitting a Secondary Answer. A list of winners may also be requested by e-mailing StumpMonk.com at winners@stumpmonk.com
SM-Points
StumpMonk-Points (SM-Points) are vouchers of recognition given to contestants who have either answered a riddle correctly, but who have not qualified as one of the five Primary Weekly Winners. This would be due to a correct answer submitted after the initial five Primary Weekly WInners have been discovered. Contestants may also earn SM-Points by "Challenging" their incorrect answer submission against our Secondary Answers (further explained in the article, "Riddle Answers"), which are individual to each riddle. Once a contestant has earned five, valid SM-Points, he/she will earn an additional $1000.00 (prizes subject to change without notice. Check back for updates, regularly). SM-Points DO expire. Unless otherwise specified by StumpMonk.com, all SM-Points expire after 7(seven) consecutive Contest Weeks. Expired points will be considered invalid, and may not be included in the five points required for a prize. At anytime, and without prior notice, StumpMonk.com may make available a Promotional SM-Point, which have expiration dates relative to each promotion (expiration dates for all SM-Points is indicated on the actual SM-Point). Only ONE promotional SM-Point may be included in the five points required for a prize. SM-Points are solely distributed by e-mail. Promotional SM-Points are made available via download on the main Contest Page at the time of each promotion.
Answer Challenges
At the beginning of each Contest Week, StumpMonk.com establishes and publishes a Contest Riddle. The corresponding "Winning Answer"and the respective "Secondary Answer(s)" (further explained in the article titled "Riddle Answers") are decided at this point, as well, though the Winning Answer will not be published until the end of each Contest Week. The Secondary Answer(s) is reserved for a contestant who believes his/her answer submission is related closely enough to the" Winning Answer", that it warrants a "Win". Contestants may "Challenge" their answer by emailing the StumpMonk.com Administrators at Challenge@stumpmonk.com- within 24 hours of the challenged answers publishing. Please reference the e-mail address submitted with your original answer submission or Transaction ID# (if applicable). If your answer matches the Secondary Answer(s) established, you will win an "SM-Point". Winners of "SM-Points" may also be posted in the Weekly Winners section of the main Contest Page.
